Equipment

Equipment covers rooms and gear that clients book directly — a tanning bed, sauna, court, scooter. Each one has its own calendar and operating hours.

When to use equipment

A staff member is the person who performs the service; equipment is the thing or room the service needs. If what's actually booked is the equipment itself, and not a specific person's time, add it as equipment.

Setup

You can sort equipment into categories, deactivate it, and each item has its own operating hours — outside them it's "out of service" and can't be booked. Then, on a service, use the Uses equipment field to specify which equipment it needs.
