Blocks and closures

A block tells the calendar that a given time can't be booked — vacation, lunch, servicing, training.

Scope

  • Whole days — a block from date to date, for example a vacation.
  • Part of a day — a block for only part of a specific day, for example a lunch break.

Who or what it applies to

A block can apply to an entire branch, to a specific team member, or to a piece of equipment. You can attach an optional reason to a block (for example "Vacation, servicing").

When someone already has a booking in the blocked time

If the block overlaps existing bookings, you decide:

  • Block and keep — existing bookings stay, only new ones can't be made.
  • Cancel and block — existing bookings are cancelled. Clients get a cancellation notice and this cannot be undone.
